13- BLU- 73B Bomb:

c. Components: Body, Tail and Fuze; Weight of each bomblet is 45kg containing 32.6 kg oxide etylen slury. 
d. Principle of Operation: When released to a predetermined altitude, the SUU (Suspension Unit Utility) splits into two halfs, scattering the bomblets (Bomb Live Units – BLUs). Upon impacting the target, the fuze activates the bomblets causing them to detonate, consequently creating a oxide etylen cloud (CH2)2 O with diameter of 15-17 m and heigth of 2.5-3 m. This cloud is ignited by an electric fuze at an altitude of 1m.


14- BLU- 82B Bomb:

b. Type: Designed to clear densely forested areas for helicopter landing and artillery zones; Lethal radius is 274m.

16- MK-118 Mod 0 Penetration Bomb:

b. Type: Designed for anti-tank, anti-personnel or to destroy thin-wall infrustructure by shape-charge effects. 
c. Components: Body (maize-shaped), Tail and Fuze. Filler Weight is 180g Cyclotol. The Dispenser SUU is mounted with two fuzes (piezoelectric and inertia impact).
d. Principle of Operation: The SUU opens at an altitude of 800 meters above the ground, dispersing the cluster bombs/bombets (each SUU contains 240 cluster bombs). The cluster bombs detonate as they impact the target.


17- Delay Bomb (mounted with M-124A1 Fuze)
a. Country of Origin: United States.
b. Type: Designed to destroy and/or blockade a target for extended duration.
c. Components: Body, Tail (fins or parachute-retarded), Fuze (Tail-mounted chemical delay M-124A1).
d. Principle of Operation: During bomb’s release from the aircraft, the propeller rotates, causing the Acetol substance-loaded tube to be shattered, thus breaking the plastic safety washer. This allows the firing pin to hit the detonator causing it to detonate, activating the booster charge and the main charge.


18- Delay Bomb (mounted with MK-346 Mod 0 Fuze)
a. Country of Origin: United States.
b. Type: Designed to destroy and blockade a target for an extended duration.
c. Components: Body, Tail (fins or parachute retarded), fuze MK-346 Mod 0 mounted on the tail.
d. Principle of Operation: During bomb’s release from the aircraft, the vane of the fuze rotates, allowing the fuze to become armed. As the bomb impacts the ground, the timing element operates to detonate the bomb after a predetermined period of time.


19- BLU-45/B (10 kg in weight)

b. Type: Designed to destroy amoured targets, vehicles, etc.
c. Components: Body, Tail, Fuze.
d. Principle of Operation:  During bomb’s release from the aircraft, the safety element of the fuze closes the electric cicuit allowing the fuze to become armed. The bomb detonates as the magnetic targets approach the effective distance, causing the changes in the magnetic field. Delay time varies from 15, 30 minutes or several months. After this period, the bomb will self destruct.
